Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember things between visits (like your cookie choices) and help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work the same way and are covered by this policy.
2. Your choice comes first
Nothing non-essential runs until you allow it. When you first visit, a banner asks for your consent. You can Accept All, Deny, or switch individual categories on and Save Settings. Denying is as easy as accepting. Until you opt in, analytics and advertising stay switched off (default state: denied).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
3. Categories we use
Essential (always on). Required for the site to work: they power the consent tool itself and the delivery of tags. They do not track you and cannot be turned off.
Functional (opt-in). Third-party tools embedded in pages, like the Calendly scheduler and the Spotify player on the About page. They only load with your permission or when you click to load them.
Marketing (opt-in). Measures how the site is used and whether our ads are working: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity. Only set if you allow it.
4. How consent is enforced
We manage consent with Usercentrics. Your choice is passed to Google Tag Manager through Google Consent Mode v2, so tools only fire in the categories you allowed. Usercentrics stores your choice in first-party storage together with a record and ID of what you consented to. When it expires, or if you clear it, we ask again.
5. Third parties
When you opt in, some cookies may be set by the services we use: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, Calendly, Spotify. These providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). The full detail of who we work with is in our Privacy Policy.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond our banner, every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other sites from working as intended.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the site or the tools we use change. The last updated date above always reflects the current version.
